Upper School Mathematics Teacher
Phoenix Country Day School is seeking an Upper School Mathematics teacher beginning in the fall of 2017. A highly qualified candidate is one who:
- Is able to teach all levels of mathematics, especially statistics and courses beyond calculus
- Has created or is excited to create elective courses in an area of expertise
- Is familiar with current research, best practices, and pedagogy
- Understands and loves working with high school students
- Has strong collaborative skills and flexibility to work with department members in all three divisions
- Is interested in working across departments to create/teach interdisciplinary courses
Faculty members teach 5 classes each semester, have an advisory of 8-10 students, and are expected to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.

Technical Theatre Specialist and Instructor
Phoenix Country Day School is seeking a part or full-time Technical Theatre Specialist and Instructor to manage technical needs of productions, to oversee performance facilities, direct a middle school production, and teach high school stagecraft. Although this position is primarily for technical theatre work, applicants should have experience in performance and directing as well, and be able to work closely with other performing-arts faculty and students. Technical theatre skills must include set-design and construction, lighting, scenic painting, sound, and costuming. The job description for this position may be enhanced to include the individual’s unique abilities. Possibilities include a video production class, middle school theatre electives, student club advisor, design and drafting class, etc. Submissions or inquiries should be made to email@example.com.
