PCDS is seeking a Long-Term Substitute in the area of Upper School Science for the first three months of the 2019-20 school year (August 12-November 8). The full-time position involves teaching three sections of Chemistry I (introductory level) and one section of Chemistry II (college level). We will also consider candidates who prefer a part-time position to teach fewer than 4 classes. PCDS has a block schedule of 75 minute classes that are on a 7 day rotation; classes typically meet every other day. Successful candidate will have experience teaching science in a rigorous academic environment and will model the qualities that we expect in our students: curiosity, hard work, collaboration, generosity, and integrity.
