Upper School Fall Play

She Kills Monsters
by Qui Nguyen

It’s 1995 in Athens, Ohio. Agnes Evans, a bereaving English Teacher is leaving her childhood home to move in with her boyfriend when she discovers an unfinished D and D campaign, written by her deceased little sister, Tilly. With the help of resident D & D nerd, Chuck Biggs, Agnes finds herself on an epic quest for her dead sister’s soul through the fantasy world of New Landia. Agnes and an awesome team of fantasy heroes battle ferocious monsters, demons, and even tiny foul-mouthed faeries, but can they win this campaign? Agnes learns deep truths about herself and her little sister in this hilarious (sometimes outrageous) and moving story of loss and discovery.

She Kills Monsters is recommended for ages 13 and up.
