Upper School Fall Play
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
Based on the novel by Mark Haddon
Adapted by Simon Stephens
15 year-old Christopher Boone of Swindon, England, discovers that his neighbor’s dog, Wellington, has been murdered. He takes it upon himself to find the killer, but Christopher has unique challenges that make his life difficult, and difficult for others to understand him. His teacher and mentor encourages him to write about his adventure, but his father tells him to keep out of other people’s business. Christopher forges ahead anyway. On this life-changing quest, he is exposed to hard truths, heartache, deep secrets, and a universe beyond the safe, binary world, and discovers how brave he truly is.
Winner of the 2015 Tony Award for Best Play.
