2025-26 Season

If you are interested in trying out for the PCDS Varsity Golf Team, the process will be as follows:

• Scorecard Submittal -  Email Coach Sullivan (ben.sullivan@pcds.org) a picture of a recent scorecard (or screenshot of your handicap scores) that demonstrates your ability to shoot scores in the mid to low 40s for nine holes.  You must send this by Friday, February 13.  If you do not submit this information, you cannot try out.

• Two-Day Tryout - After you have sent this information, you will receive a two-day tryout. Coach Sullivan will designate the specific dates of your tryout.  These dates will either be during the period of February 17-19 or February 24-26.  You must shoot 45 or below for nine-holes at Camelback on your first day of tryouts to continue to the second day of tryouts.  On the second day, you must shoot 45 or below to make the team.  

On tryout days, you must secure your own transportation to Camelback, arriving at 3:30, preparing to tee-off shortly thereafter.  We will be competing with daylight and with an abundance of public and member play at Camelback given that this is high season.  Tryouts typically end at 6:15 and all players must find their own transportation home.  

We are incredibly fortunate to call Camelback our "home course" and we must treat the course and all the affiliated staff with the utmost respect.
