Speech & Debate Team Shines on National Stage

Over 100 schools from 25 states competed, and PCDS shined once again on the national stage. In Public Forum Debate, Juniors Sedona Korzay & Sammy Marks earned their first bid to the Tournament of Champions. To qualify for the Tournament of Champions, debaters must earn two bids that are awarded to competitors who advance to outrounds at select national tournaments throughout the year. The team also had 2 individual champions, 2 runners-up, and 11 total finalists across Congress and speech events.
