Upper School Fall Play

Spoon River Anthology

Edgar Lee Master's Spoon River Anthology is a vibrant collection of poetic monologues spoken from beyond the grave. Twenty Upper School actors will perform brief, poetic character monologues in our "tour" of the "Spoon River Cemetery" created on our campus for one night only, Friday, October 30.

Beginning at 7:30, and departing every 2-3 minutes thereafter, families or friend groups (no larger than 10, masked and distanced) will take a 30-40 minute "tour" of the Spoon River Cemetery. Each "tour" begins in the Walk of Champions, works its way through campus, hearing the stories from the dead along the way. The path is wheelchair accessible.

There is no admission cost for this production; instead, reservations will be made through SignUpGenius via the link below.

Masks are required for all audience tours.

This performance is appropriate for all ages, although the poetry may be mature for young minds. We are creating a somewhat spooky vibe, but it is not really scary.
