Summer 2023:
We are excited to offer a wide variety of classes that will engage both PCDS and non-PCDS students in academic enrichment, art explorations, technology applications, theater, and athletics.
Every summer we bring new courses to our offerings, while continuing to offer the traditional favorites. Some of the new courses this summer include: Mock Trial, Games the Ancients Played, Physics is Fun!, Coding for Kids, Dino Diggers, Genius Hour, Stock Tick or Tock, and Lessons from the Screenplay.
We continue to offer our classes especially for rising kindergarteners and first-graders: Art of Play and Surf’s Up. This year we have a new option for first and second-graders called Young Einsteins. Each session will have unique activities for little ones attending concurrent sessions.
Our facilities include playing fields, art studios, computer labs, an auditorium, two air-conditioned gymnasiums, and tennis courts, plus our aquatic center, where students can take instructional swim classes, play pool games, and have free swim in the afternoons.
Our program includes:
- Lunch for all students with vegetarian and vegan options
- Two, two-week sessions (session III not offered due to construction)
- Half-day options for both rising K-8 and 9th grade students
- Full-day options for students entering grades K-8
- Popular afternoon electives K-8
- Extended day services
Please contact the Director of Summer Programs, Melinda Flores, with any questions. We hope you will join us!
